Landglass has, over the years, introduced many new products to the market, some of which are quite influential, such as bending tempering furnaces for auto sidelites, jumbo-size bending tempering furnaces for architectural glass, double curvature bending tempering furnaces and jet heating furnaces, to name a few. In this article, the company presents its most recent development - combined tempering furnaces - which can, says the company, eliminate quality defects such as optical deformation (waviness), spherical bending of thin glass, hot spots on thick glass, white haze and glass breaking inside the furnace.
