Label Change For Diagio

Rockware has made changes to Diageo's Dimple bottle range to accommodate a new label format. The change from a paper label to a pressure sensitive label required improvements in the flatness and shape of the front label area. Rockware's product designers also improved the appearance of the mould joint that runs through the front panel. At the same time, the shoulder profile was flattened to facilitate the existing shoulder label. Rockware is producing these containers using double gob machines, an industry first for this complex triangular and bulbous shaped bottle when it was first produced in this version at Rockware's specialist spirit container plant in Irvine.
