The Korean Glass Industry

During the last few years the Korean flat glass industry has grown steadily at an approximate rate of 13% annually, while the glass bottle industry has grown at a 3% rate. In the flat glass sector, two companies lead the entire market, which thanks to the expansion of the construction and automobile industries, is expected to increase in the near future at the same pace. In the machine-made bottle sector, of about 10 producers, 2 companies hold 50% of the market.
