Kioo Ltd (Tanzania)

Kioo Ltd is about to commission a new furnace, expanding the company's production capacity by nearly 160%. Based in Dar Es Salaam, Kioo currently has one furnace, a 70 tonnes/day unit feeding two 6-section IS machines. Since October, a second furnace entered produciton with a capacity of 110 tonnes/day. As the only container manufacturer in the country, Kioo serves all sectors including all types of soft and alcoholic drinks containers, cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical containes, as well as tableware. The company makes both returnable and single trip bottles.
