Jinro Dominates Top Spirits List....Again

Soju brand Jinro has been named the top-selling spirit in the world in the Millionaires' Club 2016, after selling 73.8m 9-litre in 2015. The Korean spirit piled on 4% of growth during the year and remains a long way clear of second-placed Officer's Choice. The Indian brand has cemented its position as the top-selling whisky and jumped two places in the overall list, with 15% growth taking it to 34.7m/cases. In third place was Lotte Liquor's Soju Chum Churum, with 16% growth and 31.7m cases. The only global brand in the top five of spirits is Smirnoff, which sold 25.7m cases.
