Jinjing Technology recently announced that the company has signed an ultra-white (clear) glass contract with EU customers where it has promised to supply 200,000 heavy cases of ultra-white glass which meets the right quality & standards. The value of the contract is said to be around US$4.5M. Jinjing Technology has also set up a strategic partnership with US glass enterprise, PPG. It is the first & only company that masters advanced ultra-white glass production technology. The price of ultra-white glass, which has high visible light transmission, is 4-5 times higher than normal float glass. This type of glass is mainly used in solar opto-electrical curtain wall areas. Supplying ultra-white glass as substrates of solar system is a breakthrough on international solar appliance technology. China was dependent on imports, prior to this.
