[Italy] Zignago Reports First Half 2009 Profits Down

Zignago Vetro reported a consolidated net profit of EUR 11.8M for the first half of 2009 (EUR 14.5M). The Italian hollow glass container manufacturer's consolidated revenue totalled EUR 107.5M, down from EUR 128.8M a year earlier. EBITDA dropped to EUR 29.8M compared to EUR 34.6M in 2008. Consolidated earnings before interest and tax were EUR 18.4M, down from EUR 23.4M.
