The Italian Glass Industry And The Environment: How To Comply With The European Directive 96/61/Ec

The application of the EU Directive 96/61/EC (IPPC) will take effect during the next 4-7 years. The glass industry will have to apply the Best Available Techniques (BAT) as defined in Reference Document (BREF), prepared by Technical Working Group (TWG) of the EC. The emission levels associated with BAT show the achievement expected from the glass industry in order to minimize environmental impact of the sector.
