Invertiflow Improves Blank Mould Cooling

Emhart glass has recently released InVertiFlow, a new blank mould cooling system that is part of the service-proven VertiFlow technology introduced by the firm in 1988. This new cooling technology is now available for five and a half inch double gob IS machine configurations. Others are under development. InVertiFlow cooling offers several unique advantages over other types of cooling, including: Higher cooling efficiency (leading to potential production speed increases); individual cooling of mould halves (optimising cooling conditions); No heat load to section and fumes are carried away (improved environment); Easier mould change by the absence of the plenum chamber on top (reducing downtime). Existing VertiFlow blank moulds can be converted easily to the new system. For more information please see: www.emhartglass.com
