Introduction Of Tb4+ In Ceo2 To Obtain Stable Red Pigments At High Temperatures (In Spanish)

The development of red pigments with high thermal stability is of a great importance for the ceramic industry. The stabilization of Tb4+ in refractory CeO2 leads to Ce1-x TbxO2 cerium-rich solid solutions with CaF2 structure. The appearance of red colour is in agreement with the C K Jorgensen's model.
