Interpane - Design With Glass Handbook

Interpane's "Design with Glass", the well-known compendium for architects and glass processors, has appeared in an eighth, completely reworked edition. It includes the technical details of Interpane's products as well as all the information necessary to use glass as a building material. Interpane has made an English version of the most important chapters available for download free of charge. Also available is the "Architect's CD", which contains the contact details of all international sales partners as well as detailed descriptions and technical data on all the internationally available products. Working with the handbook "Design with "Glass" has been optimized on many levels. For instance, the chapter on "Insulation Glass Technology" has been expanded into a comprehensive glossary of technical terms that follows the CE declaration for glass products in the framework of the European product norms: transparency of glass, security, safety in use, soundproofing, energy conservation and thermal insulation. The core of the handbook remains the comprehensive documentation of the full range of Interpane products, from basic glass via insulation glazing, security glazing, glass with technical functions and modern design products to the current ipasol solar protection range for internationally renowned glass architecture. Interpane dedicates a full chapter to the current guidelines for glazing, whether in window frames, in façade systems or in other systems for holding glass using common and tested construction materials and profiles. A leaner version of the comprehensive handbook is also made available by Interpane as an "Architect's CD". It contains the contact details of all international sales partners, the description and technical details of all internationally available products, and a form for requesting detailed technical documentation. The "Design with Glass" handbook and the "Architect's CD" are available at www.interpane.com under "Downloads."
