As the dust settles on the latest round of electricity contract negotiations, the 1994 National Utility Services (NUS) International Electricity Price Survey shows an average reduction of 3.25% in the cost of electricity for larger commercial and industrial consumers. The survey reveals that while prices fell on average by just over 3% this year, there was a greater spread in prices, with some users benefiting substantially and others experiencing only small decreases.
