International Congress On Glass

The Society of Glass Technology is host to the first ICG to be held in the third millennium AD. It is an appropriate opportunity to reflect on the history and heritage aspects of a material which has made an incalculable impact on the development of human civilisation and lifestyle. On Wednesday 4 July at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a special one-day event to celebrate glassy materials of all types. There will be an opportunity for 20 minute oral presentations and also for the presentation of posters. The Society of Glass Technology and the ICG Congress Steering Committee have made this special event accessible to anyone who wishes to participate but is not otherwise attending the main Congress. The fee for the day is £30/delegate. For more info please email: David.Martlew@btinternet.com
