Interbrew To Make Stella Artois Available In Pet Bottles

The M&G Group has announced further significant expansions of the commercial use of its pioneering high barrier technology ActiTUF technology, which is now being used by Interbrew in their new PET-based ATIGO containers for Stella Artoise and Juiler beers in Belgium and in the Dommelsch beer sold in the Netherlands. The ActiTUF barrier technology is made of an active oxygen scavenging system and a passive gas barrier system, which enables beer to remain fresh for longer, thus extending shelf life. The homogeneous barrier components are incorporated into special preforms designed specifically to meet Interbrew's requirements.
