Interactions Between Bioactive Glasa Nd Collage: A Review And New Perspectives

This review brings together for the first time the sequence of studies that have been done in both in-vitro and in vivo environments that have led to the basic science understanding of collagen-bioactive glass interactions. These studies and this understanding are the basis for the long-term clinical success of medical devices and osteogenic stimulating powders of bioactive glass and the ability of the bioactive glass powders to repair and protect teeth when used in oral care products.
