This paper examines a number of factors with regard to insulating glass. It asks: a) What is insulating glass?; b) Gives the energy conservation properties of insulating, tinted and reflective glass; c) Looks at the transmission of light; d) The total energy transmission "g-Value" - energy saving calculations; and, e) The sound reduction properties of insulating glass.
