Inspecting Container Mouths

Today's glass container production includes the use of inspection systems for an automatic quality check at the cold end. A major part of this check is the inspection of the mouth. There are several options for an automatic mouth inspection, but these systems hardly ever fully satisfy the demands of the producers of glass containers or their customers. In this article, some new alternatives for mouth inspection of glass containers is outlined.
