The Insight Control Systems Minilab

The MiniLab, from Insight Control Systems, provides semi-automatic off-line measurement of glass containers on the factory flor. This system is designed to reduce labour-intensive time-consuming manual quality control tests. It performs the tasks of a mould reader, flange/knockout inspector, weight scale, dimensional gauge, and pressure-testing device. The MiniLab can accommodate containers from two manufacturing lines and is normally placed between two lehrs. It sends measurement results to a process monitoring system, which then presents the measurements to the cold/hot end operators.
