Innovative New Toughening Furnace For Durobor

Innovation is all about technology, and Belgium-based Durobor® strives to continue in its tradition of being a pioneer. In 2009, they will be launching a new innovation, the first toughened glass for any shape of glassware. As from the first quarter of 2009, the technique can be applied to all glasses, whatever their shape, including stemmed glasses. In order to do this, Durobor® is investing 3M euros in a toughening furnace thanks to which the brand can respond to the high expectations that certain markets already have. With this technique, the result is an anti-hooligan glass, which is also perfectly suited for hot drinks.
