Innovative Designs Target Younger Consumers

At the Spring Fair held at the NEC, in February this year, Royal Brierley Crystal presented lifestyle collections of contemporary tableware and stemware. The company is repositioning itself in the marketplace as a fashionable glassmaker offering innovative design with a traditional past. Younger consumers are being targeted with the introduction of stylish, modern crystal to fill the gap between traditional designs and everyday glassware. Two of the highlights of the new collections are Vortex and Celebrations. Vortex is a tableware collection which comprises fruit and salad bowls, a large bowl for a table centerpiece, vases and candleholders. The Celebrations range capitalises on the success fo the limited edition Millennium flutes introduced in 1999.
