Innovative 64Mm Quad Gob Forming System Installed

USA-based Quantum Engineered Products has successfully installed and commissioned an innovative 64mm quad gob forming system on a production line within a manufacturing plant in southern Germany. The plant specialises in the production of high quality pharmaceutical glass containers. In the initial stages of the project, the Quantum equipment was tested and evaluated on a portion of an existing IS machine. The results proved positive, therefore, the German plant made the decision to completely outfit a recently purchased IS machine with the Quantum forming system.
