Ingrid - More Than Just A Brand

The production of so-called artistic crystal ware began to take off in the Jizera Mountains in the second half of the 1920s, influenced by the successful production of pressed glass from Frenchman, Rene Lalique. This artistic crystal ware soon developed its own character, thanks to the care of the companies that made it and the inventive people that designed it. A phenomenon was born which is, to this day, a showcase of glass production from the Jizera Mountains, appreciated for its aesthetics. The Ingrid Collection, made by the Curt Schlevogt Company from Jablonec, and the name of its owner, Henry Gunther Schlevogt, have become synonymous with this success.
