Ingenuity Maintained In Container Forming Developments

It was in 1922 that Henry Ingle started developing ideas for a single section IS machine. The concept became a commercial proposition in 1927 with the installation of the first 4-section single gob, blow-blow equipment at Maryland Glass, Baltimore. Almost 70 years later, the basic forming principle remains the same, although 16-section triple gob machines are now in operation.
