Infrared Thermography In Glass Lamp Production

Traditional contact methods of temperature measurement are inadequate when dealing with the high temperature of typical plasma lamps. This article describes the practical application of infrared thermography for temperature monitoring in glass lamp production and discusses the most essential features of a thermal imaging system for implementing this technique successfully.
