Infrared Absorption Coefficients Of Silica Glasses

The absorption coefficient values of several silicate glasses in the IR radiation range are determined by four different methods - direct transmission by CO2 laser, through ultra-thin sections using an IR spectrometer, glass particle dispersion in KBR pressed pellets and IR reflection spectral analysis, and the variation in values explored.
