Infra-Red Cameras Provide Real-Time Process Information At The Hot End

Glass defects are best detected as early as possible in the glass production process. Cold end inspection means that faulty products are only removed from the process after being formed and annealed, by which time it is too late for the hot end operator to take effective remedial action. This article offers a solution, an infra-red camera system which inspects bottles or jars at the hot end and provides the operator with real-time process-related information.
