The Influence Of The Spinning Disc Film Temperature On The Fibre Diameter Distribution In Mineral Wool Produced By A Double-Disc Spinning Machine

The quality of mineral wool products is affected by the diameters of the fibres. The fibre diameters depends on the kinematic and thermodynamic parameters of the mineral wool production process, and on the chemical composition of the raw materials used. The parametric constants of a preset regression model describing the diameters of the fibres produced on a double-disc during the production of mineral wool on the diameter of fibres is presented. For this purpose, the temperature distribution was measured using an infrared camera..
