Influence Of Eu3+ And Ho3+ On Nucleation And Crystallization Of Fluoride Glasses

The effect of Eu and Ho on crystallization behaviour of ZrBaYAl-fluoride glasses has been investigated in this study. Kinetic data have been obtained by non-isothermal DSC method. The evaluation of activation energies of crystallization has been carried out in terms of the Johnson-Mehl-Avrami equation, by the Kissinger-method. The stability parameter proposed by Saad and Poulain has also been calculated.
