The Influence Of Cullet And Filter Dust On The Heavy Metals Content Of Glass (In Italian)

Increasing percentages of cullet and significant amounts of filter dust are used in the preparation of the batch composition of most soda lime glasses. These materials represent a source of heavy metals sometimes difficult to control in spite of regulatory legislation. The result of a study to evaluate the different contribution of cullet and filter dust to the heavy metals content in the glass are reported in this paper.
