Industrial Glass Melting Today: An Analysis And Recommendations For New Melting Concepts

The main issues of today's glassmakers are to improve the quality of the glass and glass items being manufactured. Moreover, due to the present European norms and regulations, they must continuously strive to increase production while decreasing energy consumption and lowering emissions. This article gives some ideas of how to do this using the present glass melting processes, as well as some new concepts using innovative glass furnace designs and methods.
