In keeping with its commitment to introduce state-of-the-art glass products, SG have announced introduction of a rage of solar control reflective glass products. The Sun Ban range enables residences, offices & commercial areas to keep the heat out, leading to enhanced comfort inside & reduced heat gain."This directly translates to reduced airconditioning loads & lower electricity bills', the company's national sales manager R Subramaniam said. He also reported that SG, which had already launched products in Kerala, planned to aggressively enter other S Indian & national markets before the onset of summer. 'Sun Ban range also provides buildings enhanced aesthetics, superior durability of the coating & greater privacy for people.' He envisaged that at least 15-20% of the Rs 1700 crore glass market was likely to upgrade into Solar Control Reflective Glass products.
