[India] New Pilkington Plant Set Up In India

Pilkington Glass is setting up an automotive windscreens processing plant in India. The plant is expected to start production early 2008 in Vishakhapatnam, in the eastern state of Andrha Pradesh, with an investment of around 15M Euros. Annual production is expected to reach 500,000 windscreens, processed from flat glass imported from China, Japan and Malaysia.
