Increased Production From A Hollow Glass Furnace (Italian)

The possibility of increasing the melting capcity of a furnace is discussed with reference to increased superstructure temperature and insulation, increased preheat, the effect of the flame surface and the influence of furnace ageing. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of SEPR materials in this connection.
