Implementation Of Low-Nox Technologies In Existing Furnaces

The requirements for NOx reductions are creating problems for existing furnaces - do they need to be re-designed or is there a possibility of meeting the same requirements with existing furnace design? This article presents a solution from Society of Glass Technology with which, according to the German company, traditional cross-fired or end-port furnace types can not only meet the target values of low NOx emissions, but results for natural gas and for heavy fuel oil may also be very similar.
