Iea-Shc Task 21 "Daylight In Buildings"

Task 21 is a comprehensive collaborative research effort, involving more than 40 institutions from 16 IEA countries, under the Solar Heating & Cooling Programme of the International Energy Agency. The Task started in 1995 and ended in 1999. It established comprehensive testing procedures, provided design guidance and performance documentation on promising daylighting systems and control strategies. New user friendly daylighting design tools were developed which enable design practitioners to focus on daylight integration in building design and to predict the impact on overall energy performance.
