As privatization of glassworks in eastern Europe gains momentum, we look at one of the region's largest and most advanced container glass manufacturers: Huta Skla Jaroslaw in Poland. With a fully modern production line, the company states that it is capable of producing bottles up to European standards and exports around 20% of its output. Sold to Owens-Illinois at the end of last year, they now expect to make significant improvements on an already solid performance.
