Hunguard Float Glass Plant

Guardian entered the Hungarian market in 1988 with a joint venture with Uvegipari Muvek. Today, Hungary's only existing float glass plant is owned by Hunguard Float Glass Co., which employs 314 people. Producing 450 tonnes of clear float glass per day, the company had a turnover of US$65m in 1995.
