The consolidated net profit of Polish glassworks HSG Irena SA, went down to EUR 436,000 for 2004, (EUR 1.1M/03), the company said. Pre-tax profit fell to EUR 282,000 (847,000). HSG Irena boosted its sales revenue to EUR 24.8M (21.5M) The company's operating profit dropped to EUR 693,000 (1.1M). HSG Irena, set up in 1924, made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) in 1992. The company specialises in manufacturing cut-glass & lead crystal & soda glass products, exporting to the US, Spain, France, Ireland, Japan & the UK. HSG Irena SA reported net profit for the first quarter of 2005 down to EUR 75,000 (268,000). Sales revenue fell to EUR 4M (5.5M). Operating profit fell to EUR 51,000 (341,000). Operations carried out include: semi-automated, fully automated & manual production of crystal glass; automatic production of stem glasses; glass containers.
