How Physical Modelling Influences Glass Homogeneity

Mechanical homogenisation is capable of achieving the required levels of glass homogeneity. At present, physical modelling is the only exact method for designing and analysing new homogenisation systems. In this article, the authors describe the possibilities of creating non-homogeneous particles around stirrers and the impact of stirrers on cords.
