How Container Coatings Affect Label Adhesion

A comparative study on polyethylene and polyoxyethylene stearate indicated that the stearate coating had no adverse effects on label adhesion. With polyethylene the temperature of the glass surface during spray application and the concentration of the dispersion used were critical factors.
