Hot End Damage Controlled By Reject Systems

Most faulty containers should be detected at the hot end before the annealing lehr. This gives the machine operator the opportunity to take appropriate action to prevent more damage and their action can be considered as a process control. Futronic has developed two systems for the hot end: the Autonomous Stuck and Down Ware Reject (ASDR) and the Double Parison Reject (DPR1). This article explains the benefits of each.
