High Velocity Burner System Prevents Checker Plugging

Waste gases exiting the furnace can result in the build up of sulphates which adhere to the checkerwork brick flues. This imparis furnace efficiency and hinders production. In this paper Hotwork has addressed the problem through the development of a high velocity burner system.
