The High-Vacuum Pump That Works Against Atmosphere

Anti-reflective coatings have been in commercial use since the 1970s, especially on eyeglass lenses, windows, or binocular lenses. A combination of high-vacuum and backing pumps, are generally used in order to generate the high vacuum needed for the application of these coatings. In this article, Pfeiffer Vacuum presents its new product - the OnTool Booster - that can be operated directly against atmosphere from the high-vacuum range.
