The face of the Norwegian justice, Borgarting Court projects a modern image and a spirit of openness with its Stopray Safir and Sunergy glass facade from Glaverbel. This facade is part of a project led by Dark Arkitekter AS & Solheim & Jacobsen, to extend and renovate a complex of buildings. The project involves a new building and also renovation work. The two parts of the building house courtrooms and are linked by an underground passageway and a glass-covered skybridge. The glass chosen for the facade was neutral Glaverbel Stopray Safir, selected for its coating, invisible to the naked eye, which offers high levels of thermal protection and solar control. Thermal insulation is boosted by as between the two panes and reaches a U-value of 1.1. Solar control is 32%.
