Heat-Insulating Material Based On Basalt Fiber

A novel insulation material based on basalt fibre with increased content of clay bond and using polyacrylamide as size has been developed. The technology needed to manufacture the material is simple and it is recommended, in the form of rigid tiles, as a structural component of glass furnaces.
