Health Risks From The Use Of Asbestos And Ceramic Fibres

While two causes have been identified for the harmful effect of asbestos, there is no clear proof as to which is the main culprit. In this article, the authors investigate both the chemical toxicity of the asbestos surface and the mechanical damage of cells caused by sharp fibre endings in order to shed some light on the matter.
