Hardy Ink For Container Coding

Imaje UK Ltd, based in Chester, has launched a new fast drying adhesive ink specially developed for marking glass containers. Ink 5144 is designed for high contrast coding of food and beverage containers, without having to pre-treat the glass surface. For faultless traceability, the ink resists condensation, lubricating agents, friction and even special glass treatments, such as brunissage. In most cases the code markings can withstand the pasteurisation process. Imaje also supplies a range of flexible in-line jet coders and continuous ink systems to meet the demands of production environments of the food, drink, pharmaceutical, chemical, component and cable industries.
