Handling Machine For Automatic Bottle Inspection

Toyo Glass Co Ltd has developed a high-speed, multi-station inspection handling machine called MSH. It is an index-type handling machine equipped with 11 inspection stations. It has been designed to inspect at the maximum speed of 300 bpm a bottle having the body diameter up to 100mm. It can handle both round and non-round bottles and inspect check, warp, cocked finish, ribbon tear, leaner, overpress, inside step down, glass thickness, choked finish and other defects. As many as 30 kinds of sensors on the 11 stations can cover 60 different defects, which meet stringent quality requirements in Japan.
