Caesar Crystal Bohemia has recently celebrated its 135th anniversary. Sited at Josefodol, near Svetla in the Czech Republic, it was originally a paper mill but was converted to a glass factory 131 years ago and later bought by the Caesar family. Under Communism, it became part of the state-owned Bohemia conglomerate but when it was privatised in 1994, one of the new owners was a decendant of the original Caesar family so the name was resurrected.
