A Guide To Radiation Thermometers (1St Part)

In many continuous processes, radiation thermometry offers major advantages over other temperature measurement methods. Radiation thermometers have the ability to accurately measure temperature without contact and do not affect the process being monitored by contaminating, damaging, or conducting heat away from the object being measured. Non-contact measurement is often the only feasible solution when objects are moving, small, too hot or in a hostile environment.
